Operations Manager Alan Siegmund has been with Siegmund Excavation & Construction for the past 20 years…this time around. Alan practically grew up in the business though, working after school and during the summer for his dad, not only doing construction, but also farming and logging. Later, he spent a couple of years working for a directional drilling company out of Silverton, primarily on jobs in Washington state. When the opportunity came to work with his dad and brother Andrew again, Alan returned to the family business. His only stipulation was that when it came time to get a new company pickup, he got to choose the make and model!
As a kid, Alan enjoyed playing soccer. He also has great memories of taking trips to Disneyland and to the Oregon Coast with his family. Nowadays Alan loves spending time with friends and with his wife and their two boys. When he’s not working, Alan can be found riding dirt bikes and taking trips with his family, working around the house, building dirt bike trails with his boys, watching the boys play sports, watching NASCAR, bird hunting, and BBQing.
