Jordan Vesper

Jordan Vesper came to Siegmund Excavation & Construction in June of 2018 with a wealth of knowledge. Jordan graduated from Oregon State University in 2016 with degrees in Civil Engineering and Forest Engineering. He began his professional career with Weyerhaeuser as a Forest Engineer. He also worked for AKS Engineering and Forestry, performing Consulting Civil Engineering, before coming to work for Siegmund. During his time with each of his former employers, Jordan says he developed skills and knowledge which have furthered him in his goal of becoming a Professional Engineer. (He’ll be taking the test in April.)

While working for Weyerhaeuser, Jordan met Andrew & Alan Siegmund. After seeing their level of professionalism and dedication to completing jobs on time and as discussed, Jordan knew this was a team that he could spend his career with. He says he’s thankful that his wife encouraged him to reach out to Andrew, and that the company was able to provide him with an opportunity to join the Siegmund Excavation family. Coming from a predominately engineering background, Jordan has found a niche within the company, which has allowed Siegmund Excavation to grow and expand our current marketability. Being able to take projects from concept through completion; performing the surveying, engineering, and construction, where we can provide additional value to our customers by having everything accomplished under one roof is the ultimate goal.

Jordan grew up in South Salem, where his family enjoyed doing outdoor activities. They would go hiking or on vacations during he warmer months, and skiing and snowshoeing during the wet, cold months. Jordan also played baseball during his youth, including summer leagues. These days, Jordan spends his time with his amazing wife, Anna, their dogs Douglas Fur and Cedar, and their cat Figaro. Between home projects, adventuring, and spending time with friends and family, they stay quite busy. From spending weekends in central Oregon enjoying the snow, to working on the family tree farms in Washington, and pretty much anything in between, the family of five is always on the go!
